TabLoom Public Beta Released

Following hot on the heels of our successful FormLoom release, we're
pleased to present the public beta of
TabLoom. We've been around the RW
scene releasing 'Loom plugins long enough that you may have an idea what
TabLoom is. And you're probably right! It's the newest, easiest way
to present data within slick tabs all in one RapidWeaver page. For
all of you content junkies, feel free to load your pages with tons of
text, organized into nice, simple tabs. No more scrolling through page
after page of boring, monotonous text. Keep it simple.
Keep it in tabs!

In addition to being simple, it's easy to add sharp ThemeRoller
appearances to your tabs. Not familiar with ThemeRoller? Check it out
here:
http://jqueryui.com/themeroller/

We've got a quick little ThemeRoller screencast posted for you on the
TabLoom Page - and of course you can download the beta
version of the plugin while you're there.

Of course, we have our popular beta pricing in place -
buy TabLoom while it's still in beta and save a buck off the already low $9.95 price ( use code TL-TESTER ).

The public beta will expire April 1, so grab your fully functional beta today.

FormLoom beta 5 Released

Just a quick blog post to announce a very small update to FormLoom.

I added some PHP version checking since 80% of the tickets coming in were of folks using PHP 4

And before you start asking, NO, there
will not be a PHP4 version of PayLoom.

PHP4 is “end-of-lifed” and is considered old outdated solution.

If your host is still using it, then you may want to
reconsider who you host with.

FormLoom beta 4 Released

We are getting close folks! Beta 4 has just been dropped and it is looking pretty clean.
This release contains some bug fixes, some UI enhancements ( including Tool Tips ) and tied up some loose ends.

The
BIG thing about this release is the addition of email templates!

That’s right! You can now
format the email however you wish. Read below to find out how.

All you need to do is add place-holders in your email and receipt text for your form items.

For example...
Form Item named “name” would use
#name#.
Form Item named “email” would use
#email#.
Form Item named “message” would use
#message#.
etc... ( you get the idea )

I also added some special place-holders you can use to get more information regarding the person filling out your forms...

#fl-date# date and time stamp
#fl-ip# users IP Address
#fl-browser# Platform, Name and version of browser used.
#fl-page# Page that processed the form.

  • Release Notes
  • Added Email Templates for email and receipt.
  • Included "Required Text" into output.
  • Enclosed required symbol in span tags with fl-required class.
  • Added Tooltips.
  • Tightened up UI some more

You can get the new version by using the Update button under Page Inspector (from within FormLoom page) or download it fresh via our
web site.
