FormLoom Beta 8 Released
FormLoom beta 7 Released
Over the weekend we received emails from users trying to use FormLoom with their silly little Winblows servers. Big surprise, they were having problems getting it to work. Not a knock against the users, but the crappy OS their server is running ;-)
Anyway, I went ahead and added SMTP support to FormLoom so these “less-than-great” servers could send the mail using FormLoom.
Yes, I hate Windows and make no apologies for it.
Get the update via Page Inspector or via this web site.

FormLoom beta 5 Released
Just a quick blog post to announce a very small update to FormLoom.
I added some PHP version checking since 80% of the tickets coming in were of folks using PHP 4
And before you start asking, NO, there will not be a PHP4 version of PayLoom.
PHP4 is “end-of-lifed” and is considered old outdated solution.
If your host is still using it, then you may want to reconsider who you host with.

FormLoom beta 4 Released
We are getting close folks! Beta 4 has just been dropped and it is looking pretty clean.
This release contains some bug fixes, some UI enhancements ( including Tool Tips ) and tied up some loose ends.
The BIG thing about this release is the addition of email templates!
That’s right! You can now format the email however you wish. Read below to find out how.
All you need to do is add place-holders in your email and receipt text for your form items.
For example...
Form Item named “name” would use #name#.
Form Item named “email” would use #email#.
Form Item named “message” would use #message#.
etc... ( you get the idea )
I also added some special place-holders you can use to get more information regarding the person filling out your forms...
#fl-date# date and time stamp
#fl-ip# users IP Address
#fl-browser# Platform, Name and version of browser used.
#fl-page# Page that processed the form.
You can get the new version by using the Update button under Page Inspector (from within FormLoom page) or download it fresh via our web site.
